EASY INSTRUCTIONS
CUT Bosal Wash Away to the desired hoop width. Make sure that the film is flat and smooth
when locked into the hoop. For
appliques, monogramming and lace, it is best to lay the film on top of the area
to be embroidered. Lock the film on top
of the fabric and into the hoop. Trim
away excess with scissors and remove remaining film with a sponge or through
the laundering process.
Instructions
1.
Based on the chart below, calculate the amount
of fabric you need to begin with, about 3% lager than your finished
product. Please note that the values are
approximate.
2.
Layer Stitch & Steam on wrong side of fabric
and pin. If using fusible batting, fuse the batting to the fabric first, then
layer with Stitch & steam. If using
sew-in batting, layer the batting between your fabric and stitch & Steam
and proceed as usual.
3.
Mark desired stitching grid and stitch through
all layers. The amount of texture
achieved depends on the density of the grid.
The tighter the grid the more texturized the project will be.
4.
Set iron to cotton/high heat setting. With fabric face up on your ironing board and
stitch & Steam face down, hover close to the fabric & steam. Wait for shrinkage to occur, usually just a
few seconds. Continue steaming around
entire piece of fabric until shrinking stops and fabric lies flat.
5.
Cut to desired dimensions and sew as usual.
