Free Motion & Binding

Martelli provides a selection of high-quality products for use in free motion quilting and binding. Free motion quilting is performed using a domestic sewing machine with the feed dogs disengaged, which gives you total freedom to move your quilt on your machine. A free motion quilting hoop helps you move your piece through your sewing machine more easily while protecting your hands. We offer 8” and 11” free motion quilting hoops made of durable polyethylene (HDPE) material. You can also use designer hoop rulers that fit into our rectangle free motion gripper hoop to measure and cut specific patterns. These include straight lines, chevron, clam shell, and waves.
